How it all works

Pannovate's infrastructure layer powers customisable solutions that fuel business models across a wide range of sectors and geographies. Our platform is designed for speed, compliance and scale.

Underlying Technology

Technology stack

Syllo's architecture is based on:

Microservice architecture

Modular and independent services work together seamlessly, allowing for flexible scaling and development.

Asynchronous and synchronous communication

Efficient communication across systems, either instant or handled in the background, based on performance needs.

Scalable infrastructure using Docker and AWS services

Containerised infrastructure allows for smooth scaling across cloud services, adapting effortlessly to changing demands.

Relational and non-relational databases

A hybrid data structure that balances traditional, structured storage with flexible, schema-less options for diverse data handling.

Message brokers

A system that manages and routes communication between services, ensuring reliable data flow and coordination.

Rolling deployments with rollback options

Deploy updates without service interruption, with the ability to revert changes seamlessly in case of issues.

Disaster recovery sites

Backup sites and systems ensure business continuity and data protection, even in case of failure or disaster.

Syllo Tech overview

Syllo is purpose-built as a scalable platform, split into the following layers:

API layer

The API layer exposes web service calls for external usage. It parses and validates requests, proxies those requests to the core layer, and returns a response to the API client.

Underlying Technology

Syllo
Architecture

Syllo is built with stability, performance and scalability in mind. All Syllo layers are split into multiple modules and services. Every service covers a specific fintech functionality niche and can be deployed and scaled on its own.

Layers and services communicate using both asynchronous (message brokers, web sockets, publish/subscribe) and synchronous (gRPC) channels.

All layers and services work together to handle requests sent by either the front-end client or an external system that uses Syllo as an aggregator to simplify its business flows.

Concept

1. Product

Products are configuration records that are used to describe types of accounts and payment devices that can be managed in Syllo

Product defines:

How to create an instance of account or payment device

How to build web service requests if an external provider is involved

How to handle balance and other ledger-related functionalities (transaction processing)

Which limits apply to all the instances of the product

Which fees apply to all the instances of the product and at what point should they be collected
